Hey, folks! It’s been…a while.
Both Britt and I want to apologize for the long unannounced hiatus. It seems that life hit us pretty hard, now that we have full-time adult work. On the positive side, we’re both individually getting a steady source of income. But now, I feel like we’ve found the determination to get back into the swing of things and continue with some updates!
So. Hopefully, we can keep some form of consistency and bring you more story with Maddy and the gang. All we can do is try!
Sorry about the lack of content this week. We’re just super busy with production, during our last days before final print and we’re changing things just for you. Not to mention everyday boring stuff that gets in the way of the fun stuff. Be back atcha with a real juicy update next week.

Hey guys! And welcome to the new website design for Maddy!
I wanna give a good shout out to my buddy Mo Jangda for coding the site. Without him, this site wouldn’t have been up and running, so thanks man!
You’ll notice that the site’s upgraded quite a bit compared to its previous and former Blogger counterpart. Now I can post text elements in this blog as well as under the comic to make it easier to communicate out to you readers. You can comment on each blog post, too! In fact, we’ve got a lot of ways you can contact us, including all those social media pages linked on the right sidebar there.
That “we” bit brings us into my favourite new thing about the comic: a new co-writer! I would like to introduce you all (officially) to Britt Baker, a good friend of mine and a talented writer and idea-person. A great genre-writer, it’s one of her first forays (if not first) in writing with noir elements.
How much do I trust her as being a co-writer? Well, considering that I’m letting her handle the origin story of Madini Investigations Group, I’d say, “quite a bit.” We’ve got a lot of stuff planned for Maddy and the team, so be on the look-out for the start of our next chapter “Sometime Around Midnight, Part 1.” It should start a week or so after “Little Motel” is finished before the end of the year.
