Our Big Sleep Guestravaganza 2012 Event (I just made that up) starts this week with an intermission strip written by Perfume & Primer Caps co-creator Lucky Trinh. It’s a reference to the chapter Little Motel, so not only is this a great time to look back in our comic archives, but now you’ve got a little supplementary piece that goes with it! By the way, THIS is the game that Dick is playing.

Eesh. Sometimes we forget this blog-space exists here.
For those of you who may not know, Perfume & Primer Caps is an action-adventure graphic novel series that my brother Lucky Trinh and I have been working on for the past while. A story where a government agent hires a trio of mercenaries that run a perfume shop front, it’s one that both Lucky and I really like. Check the PPC Blog out if you haven’t! There, you’ll find previews of the comic as well as entries written by my brother about our writing processes and inspirations.
The reason I’m promoting Perfume & Primer Caps is because Lucky and I plan to have our first book (Volume 1) published in August, just in time for FanExpo Canada (which I’ll have more stuff on that to come)! As such, I’ll need the next while to dedicate my time into completing the book. Unfortunately, this means that Maddy McGee, P.I. will have to be under hiatus until early-to-mid August.
BUT! Do not be alarmed! Nor fear my bold text and poorly-attempted sentences! For Britt and I are making an OPEN CALL for guest comics/art! If you happen to enjoy this little story that Britt and I write and would love to send us some pretty fanworks, we’ll be glad to receive them!
We’re hoping to still keep weekly updates going, and we’ll be glad to post whatever’s sent to us as long as it’s suitable to post. “Keep it rated T for Teen,” as it were. We’ll also have some guest pages from our good friend Tex Houston from Street Signs, so keep a look-out for those!
